Our Christmas & New Year Opening Times

Monday 22nd December – 8.00am to 6.30pm

Tuesday 23rd December – 8.00am to 6.30pm

Wednesday 24th December – 8.00am to 6.30pm

Thursday 25th December – CLOSED

Friday 26th December – CLOSED

Our practice will be open as normal from Monday 29th December to Wednesday 31st December

Thursday 1st January – CLOSED
Reopen Friday 2nd January – 8.00am – 6.30pm

If you require medical assistance, please call 111 or visit 111.nhs.uk for advice and support, 24 hours a day.

Don’t forget to order your repeat medications to ensure you have enough over the Christmas and New Year period.

Access to healthcare over the holiday period

The practice will be closed on the bank holidays as noted below:

  • Thu 25th December 2025, Christmas Day
  • Fri 26th December 2025, Boxing Day
  • Thu 1st January 2026, New Years Day

If you need urgent care during these times you can call 01472 256256 or NHS111.

For emergency care (life threatening conditions e.g., severe bleeding, chest pain, stroke symptoms), call 999 or go to A&E immediately. 

For repeat prescriptions: Use the NHS App as a point of contact to order repeat medication and access to urgent repeat medicines via NHS111 and 111Online as a referral to community pharmacy, Pharmacy First.

For Mental Health Support, including crisis, call 01472 256256 or NHS 111. The Samaritans are also available 24 hours a day on 116 123.

For minor conditions you can use Pharmacy First: Pharmacy First service as a walk-in service from community pharmacy for certain conditions, i.e. sore throat, sinusitis, otitis media (children), urinary tract infections (women), shingles, infected insect bites and impetigo. Please Note: We will not be providing extended access appointments (i.e., appointments after 6.30pm or Saturday appointments) between Mon 22nd December and Sat 3rd January 2026 inclusive. Extended access will resume on Mon 5th January 2026.
