Dr Elder

After 37 years of dedication to general practice and Pelham Medical (and not a single day off sick), Dr David Elder has decided to call it a day and hang up his stethoscope. Dr Elder has dedicated his career to serving our local population and has demonstrated a commitment to providing a high standard of medical care for patients. For many years he was clinical lead for the substance misuse service, until it ceased in recent years. He has been pivotal in the development of the practice. Very often the first to arrive in a morning, last to leave in the evening, also working most Saturday mornings. He is regarded for being very supportive to staff and colleagues, and popular with patients. He is a widely respected clinician, good humoured, and self-effacing. Dr Elder’s last working day at the practice will be Thursday 27th November 2025. His presence will most certainly be missed. If you would like to pass on your thanks and well wishes please send those in by email to enquiries.pelham@nhs.net.
